FACET Google Drive Disclosure
Last Updated: May 20, 2026Overview
FACET can connect to Google Drive when an authorized user chooses to connect selected Drive materials for brand source intake.
What FACET Requests
FACET requests Google Drive access only after a user starts the connection flow. The planned first integration uses user-selected files or folders where possible, with the narrowest practical Google Drive scope for the workflow.
The Google consent screen will show the Google account, app name, and requested scope before access is granted.
Why FACET Requests Access
FACET uses selected Google Drive materials to:
- identify brand source materials;
- prepare safe source inventory summaries;
- coordinate classification and review;
- detect readiness, missing material, stale source state, reauthorization needs, and blocked intake states;
- hand off approved source-set information to connected review and asset systems.
What FACET Does Not Do
FACET does not:
- sell Google user data;
- use Google Drive data for advertising;
- make selected Google Drive materials public;
- store raw OAuth access tokens or refresh tokens in public website records;
- expose Drive URLs, signed URLs, local paths, source roots, raw provider payloads, prompts, OCR, image bytes, or base64 file data in public pages.
Access, Revocation, And Reauthorization
You can revoke Google access from your Google Account settings at any time. FACET may also show that a connection needs reauthorization if access expires, is revoked, or no longer includes the required scope.
If access is revoked or disabled, FACET should stop new intake reads from that connection. Previously created safe summaries, review records, or downstream asset records may remain until deleted, archived, or handled under the applicable workflow.
